The location in Thornhill just outside Terrace was perfect for us. The motel is located next to the Skeena River which can be viewed from the eating area provided for guests. The beds were excellent, the Wifi was fast enough for us, we watched some US Open tennis on TSN, and as a bonus, our room had a kitchenette with a full fridge, stove, microwave, and utensils and dinnerware including wine glasses. We are used to sleeping with the windows closed so highway noise was not audible at all at night.
Offering an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre, this Terrace hotel provides free Wi-Fi. Denny’s restaurant features on-site dining. Skeena Valley Golf & Country Club is 8 km away.

Offering a variety of animal-adapted amenities, these properties provide a pet-friendly stay. Services may include sitting services, specialized bedding and dog walking. Some hotels even offer quirky perks like a gourmet room service menu for pets, as well as catnip and scratch poles.
They placed us closest to the exit, which works well with our dog. When traveling with our dog, it often feels like we are given lesser rooms - older and more used. We did not feel this at all here.
Stay in hotels 100 days per year....
Smelled like cat pee..
At reception I was tired long day..
Need to sleep...
Room microwave broken. Bed good. Stains and spills not cleaned up from prier guest....
Incredibly welcoming hosts, very generous, varied breakfast, well stocked with spices and extras. Great beds, shower, private patio and extremely entertaining dogs (one resident, one grand puppy). BIG BONUS: air conditioning and quiet location.
We loved that it was secluded enough to let our small dog off leash to walk and explore on our little walks around the property. It felt like we were in the woods, but just a few blocks from our brother’s house.
