the location is great easy to find. the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. we enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. it was nice to have a restaurant in the hotel as well. we fid not have to leave the hotel for anything if we didn't want to.

William, the owner of the motel, is an outstanding gentleman. He was extremely friendly and helpful when I asked for assistance. He even provided a wealth of information and thoughtfully prepared a booklet with menus from nearby restaurants, making it easy to decide where to eat. I will definitely return next time. The staff were fabulous the room itself smelt unclean although it looked relatively clean and the room had a funny layout so we had a light shining in through the top part of the window all night long, sleep was far and few between.

Danielle was very nice at the phone and in person. Upgraded my room and forgot to changed me for the pet So I made sure we cleaned the room before we left. Room size was great, bigger than banff hotels. Also has nice area for dogs to pee, they have outdoor leash. Can bbq on summer. Really nice place although looking old. Thanks to the staff. No decaf coffee but they gave us extra tea and hot chocolate for my son.
We were travelling with our cat and our dog so we needed a pet friendly hotel. The Gateway Hotel had several dogs staying overnight along with our own, but the hotel was incredibly quiet. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. There was also an area at the back of the hotel where you could walk your dogs.
The motel was super clean. The atmosphere was updated retro. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. Walkable to stores and restaurants and even a park. Great value for the (very reasonable) cost. And they're pet friendly!
The location and view were excellent. The size of the room was good with a small kitchenette. A good set up with keurig coffee maker, nice sitting area, patio and tv. The room was pet friendly and had excellent trails right from the hotel.
The hotel host was very inviting and personable. He took us to our room and told us where to park upon arrival. The location was central and scenic. Plus, the room offered that rustic charm from the '60s. Everything was clean, hot showers, and coffee to make it in the morning with cream. Overall, very charming and dog-friendly to boot.
