The location was exceptional; quiet, lots of parking and close to all amenities, yet not downtown. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of bathroom linen. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast had variety; both hot and cold choices. We were very pleased with our stay here.

The facilities were excellent. The cottage was extremely well outfitted, everything was well thought out and of high quality.

Back Home Bed and Breakfast was one of the best NS vacation spots we have ever stayed in, even in the middle of Cape Breton winter. The owners are incredibly kind, giving, and easy to talk to. The location is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, and the property is very well taken care of. We loved interacting with the horses out back and the family's two very well behaved cats. There was nothing more we could have asked for from this beautiful BnB. Thank you!
Extremely happy with our stay. Located just off a major route so easy to get to north Sydney. Very welcoming atmosphere. Room was lovely, clean and equipped with a coffee maker and fridge with water and a complimentary bottle of wine. Queen size bed was very comfy. Room has two large window's for natural light with blinds to make it dark for sleeping. A large fan was provided for comfort as there was no A/C in the bedrooms when we stayed. Breakfast was superb! Will definitely stay here again!
Very cozy home, well thought out amenities in terms of guest comfort. Had even the smallest things available if you forgot to bring anything along. Good location, and as a bonus it had horses on site!
Our room was located in a very recently built home which has been developed and furnished to a very high standard of quality. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the breakfast provided was delicious. The hosts even accommodated our request to eat on their back patio.
The hosts are lovely, the breakfast was one of the best we‘ve ever had and everything was very clean. It was an excellent experience and we highly recommend this location!
