We planned a 3 week's tour to Rockies this August. Unfortunately Japer caught fire just before we reached. We were to stay for 6 nights at Jasper which we had to replace. We replaced 3 nights' stay by booking at Kanata. It was a last minute decision. As I did not search more I was a bit skeptical about the property but on reaching we were so very pleased with the amenities, staff, surroundings...everything. Special thanks to Anmol, a guy at restaurant who not only gave us good information but also served us with very tasty Samosas...!!

The room was clean but dated. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. There were a lot of work crews staying in the motel at the same time and we didn't hear a thing. I would stay here again.

I was put in a room with no cable. Staff came and hooked up something like a roku box. When i complained they moved me to a smaller room with cable.

We loved the wooden fireplace/stove, and all the little extra things we didnt expect(extra supplies in the bathroom, kitchen). Perfect size for our family.
This is a great property. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed for a great stay. The owners paid a lot of attention to the details! Location is great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this for a small group who want to stay in the pass.
