The location provides the best view of the town, having the bird food to feed the local Birdlife was great, easy walk to all the town historic sites as well as the pub.
We loved that it was pet friendly and we could bring our kitten along. On arrival we were surprised that there were so many antiques in the cottage and yet they are still pet friendly. Thankfully Cookie was the perfect respectful guest.
Owners were relaxed, friendly & knowledgeable. Dinner & breakfast offered variety & good wines. Beautiful dogs clearly the true boss. Astounding central location. Strong mix of original art throughout.
Location very central to all we wanted to do. Cottage and yard ideal and secure for my large dog. Very clean, cute and comfy cottage. Shower hot and electric blankets appreciated on beds as very icy at night. Lovely outdoor deck area, great for glass of wine and lunch in the sunshine. Very private. Very dog friendly town, well behaved dogs even allowed on the steam train (refer photo)
