Andrew and his Bellingen Treehouse is my preferred place to stay when travelling up and down the east coast between my home in Sydney and my second home in Brisbane.
The treehouse room is cosy and appointed with everything i need, here are my three top reasons i stay!
- A great size fridge with a generous freezer to store frozen pet and porridge meal prep
- Dog bowls so i don't need to worry about bringing all of my dogs items from the car
- Most important a generous sized TV already connected to the internet with subscriptions to a large range of platforms, i always have a great time resting after a long day of driving and watching shows and movies
The Bellingen Treehouse feels like a home away from home.
I will always try and book her first and consider adjusting my travel dates to suit availability!

Self contained but pantry had supplies for tea, coffee and cereal if you arrived late. House very well appointed with separate living for family downstairs as well as 3 bedrooms upstairs. Beautifully tranquil area and great for water sports. Location short drives to Coffs or Bellingen.

What’s not to like!? The location is excellent - close to Bellingen but not in the thick of it, RIGHT on the river on a gorgeous leafy property. The home is quite something - lovely high ceiling, very well-equipped kitchen, comfy bedrooms, great recreational facilities and an EXCEPTIONAL host who really went above and beyond to do whatever she could to make our stay wonderful.

great, relaxing time watching the fish jumping, trains go past just up the river, ducks & pelicans swimming/floating by and the watercraft speeding past. Kookaburras 'laughing' in the early morning & at sunset.

A beautiful spot with a really nice outdoor area to catch the sunrise or see the Milky Way at night. The property has so many features like a bbq to cook your food, a spot to have a fire and is pet friendly. During our stay we were offered fresh towels, shower curtain, coffee, milk and a quick clean daily. The owners and staff check in when they see you and are so lovely to talk to.

The instructions firstly to find Jabiru were very easy to follow - the location is gorgeous. Because I travelled with a dog we had a room on the back of the venue with the most serene, beautiful view. The areas to sit outside are very thoughtful to take in the local nature and view - so peaceful and easy distance to shops for supplies or off-leash dog area. The room is very comfortable and airy.
Family of four plus small dog - the family room was a perfect pet friendly option for our stopover between Sydney to Brisbane. Lovely grounds, pool, spa & friendly helpful staff made it feel like a holiday rather the just the stopover we had planned.
The location was stunning, a short walk to the most beautiful beach and restaurant and nice clean facilities. Very spacious cabin that was dog friendly! Will definitely be back!
Clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could want (often in duplicate). We had planned to take our dogs but it didn’t eventuate on this occasion. However I must say that this is one of the most dog friendly properties I have stayed in. No rules about dogs staying outside and very safe fully fenced outdoor spaces. Highly recommended for dog owners!
The cabin was roomy and clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Kitchen had all supplies we needed. Great location for walks along the v walk and board walk along the water. V wall pavilion restaurant opposite has 4 outdoor undercover dog friendly tables which our fur baby enjoyed. Entree mushrooms are delicious. Black head beach was a great off leash doggy beach (a short drive away.
