Stunning historical building and gardens. Our favourite feature of the property was the fact that all the fires were laid and ready to light in the many sitting rooms. We had a lovely few hours sitting in front of the fire with a bottle of local red after dinner. Also they are very dog friendly which our spoilt Pomeranian was very happy about.

Motel Melrose was a very convenient location for us to stop as we travelled between Melbourne and Coffs Harbour with our dog, which we did both on the way there and back. The room had all the facilities and amenities required for a one-night stopover, especially considering we needed somewhere that would accept our canine companion.
The bed in our room was comfortable, with an air conditioner, mini fridge, and tea and coffee, and all at a very fair price. We would recommend Motel Melrose for anyone needing to stop over somewhere with a pet.
