Location of hotel is near the lake, but it's not so obvious how to reach the shore because of very large mobile house settlement and camp ground that is just in front of the hotel (across the street), so you have to walk at least 10 minutes to reach the campgrounds’ main entrance where there is a path that leads you to the beach.

We were looking for a quiet, cozy getaway not too far from our home in Vienna. Sonnenweg was more than a perfect solution. Owner, Christian, is one of the kindest and most helpful Booking hosts we've ever met. The home itself has absolutely everything you need to feel you are staying at your own place. Bed was great for peaceful sleep in the countryside and sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening was great too. We also had a BBQ and let our dog play in the private yard. The area around the Zicksee is quiet and great for getting away from big city life. We plan to go back and have already recommended Sonnenweg to many of our friends :D

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and high quality, also the restaurant is quite spacious, both inside and outside.
Bathroom though small was very clean, the room was very clean too. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, especially when one is with small children since it is so close to the Podo beach.
Beautiful hotel, great location right on the lake and included free waterfront entry with our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We will be recommending this hotel to any of our friends planning to explore Austria.
