The hotel is very nicely decorated. Most of the staff do not speak English, but if you need anything at the reception, you can use the translation application and communicate. The hotel offers various tours in the area, so you can take advantage of this convenience. Everything you need is near the hotel: restaurants, cafes, shops, historical sights. The nearest airport is Mardin Airport, 19 km from the hotel. Nice rooms but some are dark with smaller windows. We asked for a room change & we got one with large windows & two beds. Good set bkfst on top of terrace. WiFi is good. Friendly & helpful staff. Walking distance to old town shops.

Beautiful, lovingly restored historical building full of beautiful details in every corner. The upper terrace boasts views across the plains of Mesopotamia and downstairs there is a cosy shaded courtyard in the lobby area. A really atmospheric and tranquil place for breakfast. We spent 4 nights here and would definitely return in a heartbeat. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we really felt at home and gave us an unforgettable experience.
