From the moment we entered and were greeted with a friendly face and a brandy cordial, our stay just got better. A nicely appointed and quiet room was expected at the highly rated Hisa Ales. What enhanced our experience was the food and service we received. Our dinner was outstanding – very fresh ingredients presented with flair. To accompany our meal – regional sausages and vegetables - our server recommended some brilliant local craft beers, our favorite being No Bullshit Lager. Breakfast which was included in our stay was a perfect way to start our day – a lovely assortment of fresh foods and if you desired an omelet cooked for you. However, what made our stay special was the exceptional service we received. From checking in, to our wonderful server at dinner who had excellent recommendations and a fabulous sense of humour, and to the owner that ensures his guests leave satisfied, it’s a challenge to find better. A touch off the well travelled roads, it’s a diversion well worth your time.

Situated at the entrance to the Brdo Estate, Hotel Brdo offers high-quality services and an attentive staff, catering especially to business people. The hotel organises conferences and seminars, business meetings and sessions, formal dinners and other celebrations. We didnt want to leave this hotel! Rooms are comfortable and quiet, spa is relaxing, staff is great, food is delicious. We did not expect to spend so much time in the complex as we are usually pretty active, but right next door there is also a really nice, huge park.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment. It was nice, comfortable, and very clean, providing everything we needed. The free parking at the building was a great convenience. Self-registration was straightforward and hassle-free. A delightful surprise was the fresh vegetables the host left for us in the morning, straight from his greenhouse. The location was perfect, with a grocery store within walking distance. Additionally, both Ljubljana and Lake Bled were just a 20-30 minute drive away, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
The presence of mosquito nets, roller shutters, ventilators and AC made our nights very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and the kitchen was generously equipped. The property is also well located: an 8 min walk from the supermarket, a 15 min walk from the city centre and a 30 - 60 min drive from the majority of the major tourist attractions in Slovenia. There is free parking available right next to the building.
Location is absolutely beautiful. Stunning view with a nice little creek running next to the house which has its own water mill. Owner was very friendly.Got a few extra tips for places to visit. Parking lot has a roof and was easy to access. Rooms were comfortable.

Quiet and well equiped appartmant. Furniture is new and bed in bedroom is large and cosy. Self check in but easy to understand how to get the keys. Parking lot is just in front of the door. Kind and helpful hosts.
