It was a very unique experience and so nice to stay and support the local community. The place felt almost magical. We would recommend everybody. The family took us with the boat to other islands and showed their culture and history. We do not speak Spanish, but the level of English was amazing, and we learned a lot about the local people. The food was nice. We had fresh fish caught by the family for lunch, chicken for dinner and a good breakfast as well. It was a bit cold in the evening, but we had heater in the night. Just remember warm clothing for the evenings and you’ll be fine

Towels are provided and there is 24-hour hot water. This place is magical. Delia and Wilber were great, very friendly, we learned a lot about living on the island. They took us on the boat fishing, we tried on the traditional clothes and they booked for us the trip to Taquile island. Meal was delicious. Delia is a great cook. Beatiful sunsets. It was really relaxing stay.

This was a surprise actually, didn’t know what to expect but it’s a really nice well kept hotel away from the chaos of the city. Our room was modest and although we only had one night here on our transit to Cusco, it’ll be high on my list when we go back. The staff is also very welcoming and pleasant.

The foremost thing we liked were the family (Juan, Elsa and their amazing children). They were super kind and what they have build on their island is amazing. The typical boat tour was super interesting and de textile workshop was interesting, but a little expensive for what it contains. The food Elsa cooked was amazing and delicious. The room was better than expected. The view is great and the beds are comfortable.
