The owner & staff speak English (&’probably other languages). Breakfast (a substantial breakfast - eggs, toast, juice, etc) is in a pleasant dining room. There is also a roof garden for relaxing. Streetside there is a small patio where you can have a tea or coffee & watch the Thamel activity. The owner used to be a guide so is an excellent resource to treks, lodging, bus schedules as well as Kathmandu practicalities such as the best place to exchange money, etc. Best of all is just how friendly & helpful EVERYONE is!
