Very nice cabin with a great view over the nother part of Lake Nisser into the valley of Vråvatn. The cabin was very comfortable with a lot of space. We could even charge our electric car directly at the cabin. When we tried this the first time, the wallbox didn't work but that was fixed by our friendly host already on the next day!

Set in Tuddal, 12 km from Gaustatoppen, Tuddal Høyfjellshotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service, along with free WiFi. The hotel features a sauna and luggage storage space. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

Free private parking is available and the bed and breakfast also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Great home cooked dinner. Excellent value. Large room and very comfortable. Excellent wi-fi which came in handy since I did a video interview during our stay. Good lighter side breakfast.

This apartment is very big & nice with 2 bedrooms located far apart from each other. It was the cleanest stay I had in Norway! Exceptionally clean. It is in a quiet location.

It was a good experience at the Norwegian historical hotel having a lot of paintings and a beautiful garden. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was fresh. All the staff are kind and have good parking lots. I'd highly recommend this place and I wish to come back.

Sandviken Camping’s cottages feature a cosy seating area and kitchenette with a fridge. Some also have a furnished patio and TV. Guests can choose either private or shared bathroom facilities. The facilities and location at Sandviken Camping are lovely! And the owners are very friendly and welcoming. This is one of the best campsites we've stayed at, and we'll definitely be back!
