This non-profit hotel is located on the University of Stavanger campus, a 3-minute walk from Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. The earnings made by the hotel are donated to the University, which benefits student education. The closest bus stop is only 350 metres away. The reason that I've reserved this hotel is that I expected a laundry (washing machine) in my room (apartment) as shown in the hotel information. However, it is not in the room but there is a very good laundry facility (washer, dryer, and more) in the basement. Even more, it is free for hotel guests during 24/7.

We were warmly greeted by Patricia and her husband with a plate of smoked salmon which was delicious. There is a two person jet tub in the bathroom we hope to have time to try out on our next visit in 2 weeks. The radiant heat in the floors kept the temperature perfectly warm. Right outside there is a very large private deck with comfortable table and chairs to enjoy your coffee with mountains, water and the quaint village below.
