There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. We stayed at K16 apartments for two nights . - it has a great location , right opposite the Akureyri Church and at City centre with great cafes and restaurants at walking distance. -The rooms are well equipped with all you will need for a comfortable stay . - cleanest apartment ever ! - it’s massive - bed room, bath, kitchen, living space and balcony - lots of storage and well thought out cabinets for putting up jackets rain shoes etc - hassle free check in and out -Free parking in the apartment building - correspondence with Margrèt was great . She was prompt and accommodating from the time of our booking and to check out . - we had a higher floor room overlooking the church . The highlight of our stay has to be us witnessing the Aroura Borealis on our first night from our room balcony.

Fosshótel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar and food at the restaurant with a lake view. All is good except no Wi-Fi on our room at 3/F. It was unacceptable in a 4 stars hotel nowadays. Sauna room with a nice view but it’s opens fri. 10:00 am to 10:00 pm only. It will be much better with long open hours

The food and the dinner with all other guests at one table. Family feeling and interesting discussions with people from Mexico, Spain and USA. The owners and staff were down to earth friendly. Good beds and nice room. Best accomodation we had in Iceland. If you like to meet with other people and like good food I recommend this place.

The room was compact yet functional and the view of the lake and mountains was magnificent! The tasty breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and the team was quick to clear tables and efficiently manage the buffet. The hotel staff’s exceptional hospitality added a personal touch to our experience.

The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Apparemment very clear, spacy, excellent coffee,easy self check in. Also small things that make the difference : pepper, salt, oil. Wash disher. No noise. Definitely will stay there again if back to Iceland.

Tjörn 1 is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We loved the property a lot. We came late at night and were welcomed very warm by the owner, she prepared wonderful bed for our daughter. The common area was extremely comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped. The dining table was located the way that during morning coffee we enjoyed spectacular view on the fjords. We think that we definitely would come back. To stay there longer.
