From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service from the fabulous staff. Perched on the edge of the beach, it was fabulous to dip in the sea at will or watch the gorgeous sunset in the evenings. The room itself was elegantly furnished and comfortable. The private balcony was the ideal spot to unwind. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment we checked in, they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast and rest of the food was lovely too. Will definitely want to keep coming back.

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated.

All rooms include a balcony and sitting area where guests can relax. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a hot water bath or shower. We had the best time at Hilias retreat. The owners made us feel very welcomed and were very available and attentive to our needs. The room is super clean and located 2 minutes from the beach. Highly recommended!

There was nothing I needed or asked which presented a problem. From my taxi meeting me at the airport to the purchase of bottled mineral water for me for my room (the cost of both reimbursed to Austin by me of course taxi was only 350 INR). Austin is a wonderful kind gentle human with whom it is a joy to interact. Austin is FULL of local knowledge and superb recommendations for Bogmallo Beach (which is less than 10mins stroll), fresh strong yummy ginger Chai and Omelette breakfast (at Savita's) and the most incredible palak dal and crunchy veg salad I've ever tasted (in the delicious restaurant Seagull John's). Both establishments are right on Bogmallo Beach.
