The food was delicious and the best we had in India too. Host’s kids are lovely and we had amazing time with them. His wife was also amazing and did us henna tattoo. I cannot highlight how much we liked it there. I wish we could stay longer and I was upset to leave the hotel. I definitely recommend! Hope to be back one day!

Right from the adopted cat you’ll meet at the reception to the views from the rooftop. But the thing that really stands out at this hostel is the people managing the property. Aniket, Mahipal, Mayank and Rinku really make you feel like home. The hotel is located at close proximity to most of the tourist destinations in Orchha. So you can explore in the day and chill with everyone at the rooftop later in the night. I went to Orchha for 3 days but stayed there for 9 days just because I wasn’t willing to leave the the hostel. So if you are in Orchha, do not look anywhere else. This is the place folks. You won’t regret it trust me :)

Every room is equipped with a TV. Certain rooms include views of the mountains or city. I had the pleasure of staying at Abbas' homestay in India, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Abbas and his wife went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Abbas is a true gentleman and has a heart of gold. He was always respectful and honest, and always made sure I had everything I needed. He went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable and was always happy to chat and offer advice on what to see and do in the local area. But the real highlight of my stay was the food. Abbas' wife is a wonderful cook, and she prepared delicious local dishes that were simply amazing. I've never tasted anything like it before, and it was such a treat to be able to enjoy home-style cooking in India. The food was always fresh, flavorful, and cooked with love, and I miss it already. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Abbas' homestay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic and unforgettable experience in India. Abbas truly made me feel at home, and I am so grateful for his hospitality. Thank you, Abbas, for making my trip to India one of the best experiences of my life!
