The breakfasts were amazing, the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip to Ireland, Scotland and london.

Breakfast was gourmet and the staff was exceptional. The owner made check-in very easy and was extremely accommodating when we arrived a bit early. The location is very close to multiple bus routes making it very easy to explore the area and travel to the city centre.

Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbour and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. At the check-in we have been welcomed by Dawid, who was extremely nice and helpful, we didn't know the surroundings since it was our first time in connemara and he even printed us a map of two very nice drives in the area and recommended to go on the Killary Fjord boat, which we did the following day and really enjoyed, it got even better when we had been told that the customers of the hotel had a discount. The bedroom was clean and with a lovely view of the fjord, with a lovely big and warm shower. The breakfast was included in our package and it was very nice. There were both a buffet with fruit, cereals and cake and the option to order a wide selection of hot dishes from the classic irish breakfast to smoked salmon and eggs. Staff was kind and helpful. We were travelling with a medium size, long hair dog and we had no issues whatsoever. Would definitely recommend it.
