Seaesta was my very first hostel experience and it impressed me a lot about hostel. The room is quite nice and bed is comfortable. Surprised about the sharing bath room and toilets are so tidy and clean. They must put lot of effort on cleaning. Also, they have a small GYM which is so great to spend some time in the afternoon there instead of always poolside.

I enjoyed my trip in Ruteng so much and had a great time there! 😊

It’s a truly local experience with a local family. They welcomed us with a smile and they let us feel like part of the family. Facilities are basic but there are all the essentials: WiFi working well, comfy bed, (we had a private) bathroom with running water on toilet and a (cold) shower, a tasty meal prepared by the family. They speak good English and even the daughters do! The location is a bit outside the centre of the town and on a hill, but we liked walking around cheered by locals to watch the village life going on. We would definitely go back again. They helped me find a motorbike to hire with ease. I looked forward to having their nasi goreng and ginger tea for breakfast. I found the area to be quiet (you might hear the occasional karaoke but it didn't last all night and some dogs/roosters in the distance at morning - although I didn't mind).
