Set just above the coastline promenade in Opatija, the impressive Hotel Ambasador - Liburnia provides free access to its Wellness & Spa Centre, which has swimming pools, a fitness area and a spa relax zone. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. When travelling and staying at hotels, a lot of things can get much better if you don't hesitate to ask for improvements. The staff were super kind and all our wishes were fulfilled. We booked a room with a private sauna and this was the best decision. The hotel had an amazing buffet breakfast and dinner! The spa, gym and pool were ideal early in the morning. We especially enjoyed the cocktail bar! A wonderful, professional and friendly bartender agreed to try and make our own alien cocktail recipes. In general, everyone was extremely kind and helpful, especially the young lady at the reception. We enjoyed both Opatija and Rijeka on our way to Italy and at the end of our stay were surprised that the garage fee was deducted from our bill. We also got a complimentary drink at the bar. I would strongly recommend this hotel and especially their half-board offer!
