Stathis himself is from the island and has recommendations for every day, every temperature, and every wind direction - ranging from adventure to chilling. The island itself is an insider tip for hiking (medium day trips) and still has reasonable, pure individual tourism. The Internet is fast. Overall, we felt highly comfortable.

Nice and polite staff, very helpful. We will be coming back.

Delicious breakfast in the garden under olive tree every morning. They also made the local herbs tea especially for us. I appreciate they considered the fact we are vegeterians. The room was spatial, cleaned every day, fresh towels, nice balcony with the sea wiew. We also found the sweet surprise in the fridge few times. Highly recomanded, i would back there with pleasure. Kythira Golden Resort provides private parking and is 30 km from Chora, the island’s capital. The main port is at a distance of 1.5 km, while Kythira Airport is 10 km away. A transfer from and to the airport is available upon request with surcharge. This hotel was the best I've experienced in 20 years of vacationing in Greece. The hotel owners, their daughter and Katharina are the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met in hotels. I even got dinner from the house because the tavern was overcrowded and they invited me for a grilled fish too. I have never experienced greater hospitality in greece. Breakfast is very good, there is something for every taste and with homemade sweets from the lady (Athanasia) of the hotel. I can recommend this hotel best.

A simple recipe of the perfect accomodation that consists of a spacious and clean room, fantastic view (we had booked the room with balcony and sea view), a delicious breakfast and friendlyl hosts and staff that are always willing to serve you. Ideal place to spend some relaxing time. I would definitely stay again there in future vacation.

We spent 10 amazing nights and days at this beautiful Hotel, where everything exceeded our expectations. Starting with the very warm wellcome and efficient check in, moving on to the beautiful room with an amazing view overlooking the Sea, the delicious breakfast that we had every morning, the beautiful and clean beach in front of the hotel, and above all the warmth, hospitality and high professionalism of our amazing receptionist Lila, everything was exceptional. The hotel is practically on the beach, at walking distance to the hotspots in Agyia Pelagia, and has a pretty generous parking lot. The beach is very clean, with a smooth shore and crystal clear water, large, clean and comfortable sunbeds. Our room had front sea view, a nice balcony, was spacious and tasteful furnished and spotlessly cleaned daily. Very good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and plenty every morning. A huge Thank You yo our lovely host Lila, who is amazing and wonderful. We had the best time here and hope we'll come back as soon as possible!!!!!!
