Where do I start - we truly enjoyed our holidays at Enorme Santanna Beach Hotel. The facilities and rooms have very nice, clean design. From the hotel there is a nice view to the city and mountains. Hotel is located next to the beach which is fully equipped beach with comfortable sunbeds and beach bar. The beach is rocky - black rock and sand beach, but I really liked the character of the beach. Although the sea bottom itself is rocky, still it is possible to comfortably enter it and swim. Food was excellent - fresh and delicious, I especially enjoyed breakfast and dinner, it’s wide variety of different cusines and desserts were outstanding. The staff is friendly, kind and always ready to help you, so for the hotel staff itself I give 10/10. You are great and doing a great job there! As this was the first part of our trip and we did not want to do anything much just sunbathe on the beach and relax, we found this a perfect choice.

Breakfast was every day a perfect experience! thanks so much to all the staff who made our stay perfect! also the cleaning was extremely good (noticing we came often with sand, wet beach towels, etc).

Free WiFi is available throughout. We enjoyed our stay at Abaton. All staff was very friendly. The food was excellent, and the restaurant managers, Polina and Tonasis, left a lasting impression on us. The pool and beach area were very relaxing. For our first time in Greece, our expectations were surpassed, and we will be returning to Crete in the future.

Toiletries and bed linen are provided for your care. This Hotel made our holiday. The staff were friendly and efficient and extremely accommodating. A shout out to George on the front desk who always greeted us so warmly. Other front desk members were also very good, unfortunately I didn't get their names. The breakfast was really good with the lovely lady in charge describing the food that was handmade every morning with a good morning and a smile. Other staff in the restaurant were also so friendly and warm. Very good choice for breakfast with fabulous views over the town of Rethymno as it was situated on the 5th floor. Our room was very spacious & air conditioned with a comfortable kingsize bed. The decor was very attractive and we had a huge balcony with a view of the sea. It was a nice quiet area even though not far from the old town. There was a walk up hill to the hotel which didn't trouble us but if you had health difficulties it may be a problem. The room is not serviced unless you request it but when we needed anything like extra towels or soap it was provided. The shower was really good, the best I have experienced. The spa area was closed on this occasion due to difficulty, however when I requested a massage, it was arranged that I could have one in my room. The lady came supplied with her own equipment and the massage was very good. Parking near the hotel was never an issue for us even though there wasn't much space directly outside the hotel. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Rethymno we would not hesitate to return here.
