We had a 3 night stay in May at Annades. Anna and Despina were great hosts. Communication was very good from the start and they were able to help with any questions we had. My sister got a little sick during our stay and they were so helpful and accommodating, I cannot thank them both enough. Despina was so nice and even baked and brought us some pastries when we arrived, which was a very nice touch. Karfas is a small and quiet town. The beach is within walking distance around 150 meters. There are a few restaurants around. However, since we were there during Easter holiday and just before the summer busy season, some were closed. There is a mini market conveniently located 80 meters away, which has snacks, drinks and many essentials. The location of Karfas is a easy 25 minute drive to sites of Pyrgi and the Mastic Museum, which are both a must see when you go to Chios. The apartment is very comfortable and clean inside. The kitchen is perfect and has everything that you would need. The outside is beautiful with lots of unique decor. Alot of time and work has been taken to make it immaculate and pristine. Balcony was perfect in the morning and evening. The view of the Chios Strait and Turkey was very nice. If you are looking for a great place to stay when you come to Chios this is a exceptional choice. This was by far the nicest place that we stayed during our trip. Thanks to Anna and Despina for a great ending to our adventure in Greece.
