The Trout Fly Guest House offers accommodation in the centre of Port Ellen, minutes from the ferry terminal and only 3 miles from our local airport.

There is a resident's lounge for you to relax in with a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the building. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and was on top of the ferry schedule changes. The shower was excellent and the room very comfortable. Great location in Port Ellen.

Situated on Islay, Dha Urlar offers 4-star accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also has outside decking. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property. An excellent experience. Hosts Jim and Caroline were superb and we were made to feel very welcome, as well as gaining some very helpful insight into what to do (and not do!). Breakfast was delicious and the accommodation top-notch. We hope to return again soon.

Port Charlotte Hotel is located in Port Charlotte on the shore of Loch Indaal. The conservatory and gardens open onto a sandy beach.

All rooms include a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities. Free WiFi is featured at this property. This is a very quaint, pretty , beautiful experience of staying in an historic hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Xmas and other guests and locals visiting the bar were friendly and fun. Food was great. Tv struggled. Breakfasts were fantastic especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. Loved having Marion play piano accordion on our last night. Thanks to Henry for organising. Was very special.

There is a shared kitchen at the property. I loved this hostel! The staff and guests were extremely friendly; it’s obvious they care about their guests and experiences of fellow travelers. I’ve stayed at youth hostels all over the world and I would 110% recommend this place. I’m GF and showed up the weekend before they closed yet they went above and beyond and made sure I was taken care of. They really exceeded my expectations. Great location, staff, accommodations, you name it. I’m 36 YO and sorta fretted over the youth part but this place was amazing. I really hope to be back! THANK TOU!!!

Islay Airport is a 10-minute drive for The Islay Hotel. A links golf course is less than 10 minutes' drive away and guests can visit the distilleries of Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and Ardbeg, situated between 5 and 10 minutes' drive. There is free parking at the property. I was moved to this Hotel as the other one I had booked was taken over - everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations from the decor of the whole place, size of the room, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and outstanding food!

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away. Exquisite location, big rooms and bathroom. Amazing breakfast (croissants are to die for!), and lots to do at the house (board games, etc.). To top it off, Thomas who was managing the place was ever helpful and great! Highly, highly recommended place!

The bed and breakfast features garden views and a sun terrace. We loved everything about our stay at Loch Gorm House. It's a beautiful home located near quiet beaches with lovely touches in the rooms. The breakfasts were the best we've ever tasted! They were tailored to suit any requests you had and set you up for the day. Our host Fiona was full of tips, tales, craic and character! Nothing could have made our stay even better than it was. An absolute gem.
