The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property. An excellent experience. Hosts Jim and Caroline were superb and we were made to feel very welcome, as well as gaining some very helpful insight into what to do (and not do!). Breakfast was delicious and the accommodation top-notch. We hope to return again soon.

At the hostel the rooms have a shared bathroom and bed linen. I loved this hostel! The staff and guests were extremely friendly; it’s obvious they care about their guests and experiences of fellow travelers. I’ve stayed at youth hostels all over the world and I would 110% recommend this place. I’m GF and showed up the weekend before they closed yet they went above and beyond and made sure I was taken care of. They really exceeded my expectations. Great location, staff, accommodations, you name it. I’m 36 YO and sorta fretted over the youth part but this place was amazing. I really hope to be back! THANK TOU!!!

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away. The house is very nice and cosy, but what is absolutely awesome is the service. Fantastic breakfast with a wide selection of fresh fruits.

Absolutely pro-visitor attitude, help in every aspect of the stay and a delightful breakfast. I can only recommend it!!!
