We had an amazing stay at Glentruim Homestay, the only problem is that we only booked it for two nights, wish we haded for a week. The house is lovely. They have an amazing kitchen and an absolute adorable dog! The breakfast is simple but tasty with muffin bread ( it's not sweet ). Peaceful location, we highly recommend it!

Location was excellent to access town centre on foot. Free car parking. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Bathroom very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and very generous servings. Hosts were friendly and helpful with suggestions for hikes.
A great property for self catering guests with a fully kitted out kitchen. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfy an the property in general was a very nice, modern, clean and well done out property. Off street parking was also a very good benefit. The welcome pack was a lovely touch just to top it off. The location couldn't have been any better for walking distance to the local pubs and shop. I would certainly stay here again.
The owners are amazing, some of the kindest people we’ve met on the trip, great breakfast, good pubs in town for dinner. Parking right across the road in a car park. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable.
Very clean, free parking, comfy beds, very good quality furnishings and black out curtains. Professional staff who were friendly and efficient, mainly Polish workers I think. A lovely swimming pool and sauna to use for hotel residents. Needs £1 coin for the lockers.

It is a nice hotel in a beautiful countryside location. The room was fine and comfortable and had everything you need. Lots of things to see and do in the area and not far from Aviemore which is just down the road. There are lots of things for the children to see with the dinosaurs and various play areas and even a swimming pool. On arrival the front car park was full but there is loads of space in the car park at the rear of the hotel so no problems for parking.
Quirky, beautifully decorated hotel. Features of old church kept which we liked. Room we had was comfortable and beautifully presented. Breakfast was lovely and the situation was perfect for walking / driving the short distance into Ballater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free car parking was not provided by the Auld Kirk, but there is free parking right outside on the road which was good. We had a really good night's stay and would definitely recommend.
The large (standard) room was exactly as shown in the website photos. The building and room were beautifully clean. The room could be serviced as often as requested. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with Hotel brand linen. Having a fridge in the room was a great feature, and the bathroom door was cleverly fitted to be able to close off the toilet cubicle separately. There were four EV charging points in the car park (not limited to guests). Plenty of free parking available. Friendly, helpful staff. Recommended 100%.
