But I have to mention the art and decor too - we just felt like we were stepping back into french time with wonderful wooden floorboards and staircase, and surrounding by inspiring and actually comforting art works. Our hosts (adults and cats) were charming, welcoming and made our stay memorable. A highlight of our visit was the extraordinary meal prepared by our hosts. The food was excellent and the wine flowed. Villa des Chats made our last night in France relaxing and pleasurable. We highly recommend Villa des Chats.

Breakfast is so good that you will love it, as much as the whole atmosphere created around the room, with soft jazz music, a fire place and the cute tableware and tables setting! The hotel is truly a boutique space, and is perfected located in the heart of Boulogne old town! One detail that speaks by itself was that our inbound train stopped before Boulogne, and the owner offered himself to go and pick us up to brought us in his car to the hotel! Also, he printed all train options for us for the day after in our return to Paris. These are the type of gestures that make the experience a great moment to remember and make you want to come back again!
