Situated by the lighthouse that gives it its name, the hotel overlooks the sea and is just a few strides from the southern end of Maspalomas beach. The property has one swimming pool included and there is also a second pool on the rooftop which is subject to additional charges. I stayed at Hotel Faro for 4 nights as a solo traveler and I loved everything about this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect - directly by the ocean and the dunes, and super close to the bus stop, the overall design of the hotel is incredibly chic but my hotel room still felt very comfortable and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway Hotel is situated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a 5-minute walk from Las Palmas Marina and surrounded by extensive gardens. This hotel features an outdoor pool, 3 restaurants, a rooftop bar, a wellness centre and free WiFi. Incredible location in an oasis of peace and relaxation. The staff was excellent. Our room (suite) was spotless and very comfortable. The location for the breakfast (terrace) was beautiful and breakfast was excellent. The salt-water pool area was very nice and with perfect service. Very good restaurants (one Michelin-star rated restaurant: Poemas by Hermanos Padrón) in the hotel.
