I called via WhatsApp a day before to ask for an early checkin and at the call time was told they will do the best but can't promise (we decided i will call again when i land) a few hours later i got a call saying my room will be ready at 1pm. Unfortunately we ended up being late and just wrote a message to the hotel and all was well. We got a room on the third floor in the opposite direction of the train station and had the windows open our entire stay. There was a bit of pedestrian noise especially on Friday and Saturday night but nothing special. The biggest noise was the rain which sounded like horses trotting. Couldn't hear the train at all. The apartment was big comfortable and clean The fridge is on the small side but if you are not doing major cooking its just fine. There were plenty of dishes and they were in good state. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were big and felt very clean. One tiny suggestion for improvement, more lights (or brighter lights). Felt a little dark even with all the lights on. I asked for an umbrella on a rainy day and was given one which was very helpful The garage (extra pay which i knew when booking the apartment) was very comfortable. We were very close to the elevator. There is a lidl within a short walking distance and the garemish pedestrian street is also a fairly short walk. Though we did take the bus one time which is free with the guest card The photos of the apartment in booking show the apartment as it really is.

The Austrian border can be reached by car in 10 minutes, and Hotel AlpinaRos provides free private parking. Very nice, warm hotel (there were 7 degrees) cosy and great view. Friendly and prompt staff. Very good breakfast in an elegant room. I enjoyed a lot my stay despite the winter weather in September. Guest card very useful to travel for free around Berchtesgaden region.

Everything. Amazing breakfast, super nice staff, spacious room with great view. Location a bit far from the train station but served by buses or a very nice short walk from everything.

This is a gorgeous hotel that I can strongly recommend. I would gladly stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was perfect. Breakfast was superb as were the dinner meals. This will be where I stay anytime I visit Garmisch.
