Housed in a traditional courtyard-style building, this well-conserved BuddhaZen offers rooms with modern Chinese décor and flat-screen TVs. Featuring a SPA and a Chinese restaurant, it provides business services and free WiFi in all areas. It is a 5-minute stroll from Wenshu Monastery Metro Station (K Exit). My friends and I were exceedingly happy with our choice to stay at Buddha Zen Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in a very fun, dynamic neighbourhood, with many great cafés and food spots in close vicinity. We also found the rooms to be spacious and super comfortable! Would definitely return here on my next trip to Chengdu.

This recently renovated apartment is located less than 1 km from Wuhou Memorial Temple and 2.5 km from Tianfu Square. The apartment features family rooms. Our apartment was on the second floor (note that there's no lift in the building) and had three bedrooms. It was clean and spacious and nice to stay in. There is also a washing machine and a dryer which made it convenient for us to do laundry. While there is no nearby walkable metro station, there are a number of food options and also a mall nearby. Arthur was a friendly host who not only gave us recommendations for food places, but also hosted us to a session of drinks and games (狼人杀) with his other friends at the rooftop garden bar. We were able to participate because we could speak Mandarin — I think our experience was enhanced by that.
