On-site parking is free at Schwarzenbach Landhotel. The staff was super friendly, absolutely professional and nice. The room was super spacious.The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the Spa area, which is open till 9 pm and we had the chance to relax in complete silence while outside was already dark and it was raining. Amazing atmosphere.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

Gutshof zum Schluxen also offers a bicycle rental, free parking, and free WiFi access. Everything is good with the kids. We really enjoy the campfire there.

Swimming and water sports are possible at the Forggensee Lake, which is 8 minutes away on foot. The A7 motorway is 7 minutes away and provides access to Bavaria’s Romantic Road. Free parking is available at the Christine Hotel. We arrived early by car. Onsite free parking was a big plus. We were allowed to check into our room several hours before check in time. The staff was most friendly and accomodating. Walking distance from the hotel lies the Old Town of Fussen. The ‘Rewe’ grocery was just a short walk away. Most impressive was the breakfast both in presentation, variety and taste. We would definitely book here again when we return to Fussen.

Uli arranged for earlier check in and gave us valuable information during our stay. The room was very nice and has a remarkable view of the mountains and the castles. The room was clean at all times, parking available and all the facilities were there as mentioned in booking.com

The apartment is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the bedroom is especially spacious for 2 people. The apartment is decorated in a country style which match well with the surrounding environment. The view from the balcony is mind healing. A large pasture is right in front of the apartment with an endless mountain range as its background, which creates a beautiful picture of countryside. Also, don’t miss the Forggensee which is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment. We had a walk or picnic by the lake everyday we stayed in Schwangau. Forggensee is really a hidden gem! Lastly, we have to thank Sabestian again for his helpfulness. We are so lucky to have Sabestian as we our host. He is very patient in answering all our questions prior to or during our stay in Schwangau. He made recommendation for places to visit.
