Floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature of Hotel Huber Hochland’s fitness and relaxation rooms which provide panoramic views of the Bannwald Forest and surrounding Maurach countryside. Most rooms have a balcony. Our room was exceptional. Great bed in wonderful atmosphere. Special room lighting and decor. Nice balcony. Dinner was superb. Excellent salad buffet, soup, and main course followed by a good dessert. Breakfast buffet was equally excellent with scrambled eggs and bacon and much more.

Fully equipped rooms, even a sauna in the bathroom, breakfast service on request, games to play (and drinks from the bar if you like) in the reception area, washing machine and dryer if needed, charger for electric car. It was really great. The accomodation is very well thought through in details, and also: nicely designed information booklets with activities (you can find that on the website, looks really nice!), hiking information booklets in the apartment upon arrival. All in all a great stay, very close to the beautiful lake and closely cable cars. We took the Rofan one in Maurach (short drive) and had a great time up in the mountains. Panoramic views to dream of! And of course the hiking route along the Achensee, recommended and also good available with a dog. We will definitely come back if we go to the Achensee again!

Located in Maurach, 10 minutes walking distance from the Achen Lake, Arthur's Hotel und Apartments am Achensee offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a bar and a restaurant with a large selection of pizza, pasta, fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. The attention to detail and the warmth of Arthur and Ingrid and Lise. It was a memorable 2 days and I hope to go back someday . The restaurant too was excellent and the waiter ( i don’t recall his name ) was exceptional.

The view from balcony is amazing, and it’s a very big balcony. I believe im summer will be great to enjoy a cup of coffee there. The whole flat is very clean. Under there is a restaurant, the pizza is tasty. With 5 minutes walk, there is a big super market can eat breakfast and products are cheap
