Lovely scenery. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff very helpful. Rooms were great. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had all needed. Loved the morning game and scenery drive. The little shop was reasonably priced for snacks and drinks. Loved the biltong.

The cottage is in a private valley with complete privacy. It has amazing views. For winter - it is well heated by a wood burning stove and has a wood burning hot tub. It is rare to find a pet friendly nature reserve and it was a pleasure to be able to take our fur babies with us.
They have a small farm shop with venison and steaks and a few other items.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
I read the reviews and was disturbed however it was the only accommodation available. I travelled with my team and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the water was hot, the beds were comfortable. He staff were extremely helpful, the parking was safe.
This was truly exceptional! The owners gave us precise information on how to get there. They gave us a ride from the parking spot to the cottages. If you want to be really remote, this calm, secluded place is just perfect. The view and the two cottages we saw were beautiful.
No reception, but we had WiFi there.
We recommend bringing some firewood and maybe some candles.
