We had the most amazing stay at Copperleigh Trout Cottages. Ashley is an extremely attentive host and has thought of everything you could need while you're away on holiday. The views of the dam are breathtaking and the added bonus of sheep, goats and cows on the property was amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy and extremely welcoming. The staff were amazing and friendly. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to everyone we know!

Sally was really helpful and explained everything that was available on arrival. I enjoyed my stay. The room also has a helpful booklet with all the info around the area as well as at the property. You can hike, ride horses with Helen, paddle out with a boat, look at a waterfall, play board games and other outdoor games such as volley ball. It is also a farm where you can feed the animals. There is a restaurant with bar that serves breakfast, lunch and supper. They have amazing home made bread for their sandwiches and their homemade pies are delicious. This place has exceeded my expectations. You can really get away from city life at this guest farm. We even extended our stay with one night as we enjoyed it here so much.

This is such a magical cottage. It's situated on the far end of the Star Dam, with a beautiful view of the dam from the balcony. The cottage is solar-powered and has gas stoves, so you are never affected by load-shedding. It has all the amenities you need, and the estate team comes to check on you regularly to make sure you have everything you need. There is a lovely fire pit in the front garden, and you get the occasional visit from some horses :)
