The location was fine for our event in Wall Township. The room was very sparse but also very clean. The property appeared to be maintained with pride.
We were really only looking for a good place to sleep and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet, the towels ample and fresh. There was a decent table with two good chairs for working at the table.
I guess the rates in the area are very high due to the nature of properties in a resort area and as a result, this place would be borderline on value for money. However, I've paid more in the past for other lodging in the area that was truly terrible.
Based our need for a clean and apparently well-maintained but relatively inexpensive accommodation, I'd return to the Sea Girt Lodge on another visit to the area.

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Beachliner, and was give a huge cead mile maith (welcome) by Bernadette, the Inn keeper. Bernadette was great craic, had great advice on Asbury, fed me up with beautiful breakfasts, and runs a truly lovely guest house. Location, hospitality, and a beautifully appointed room. Couldn't have asked for more!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The rooms are just fine, fairly big. Breakfast is really good for today's time. For us the location was excellent. We didn't use the pool or the exercise room, but they seemed good. Parking and access to the area are very good.
I like the motel because it's near Asbury Park beach and other business establishments like grocery, restaurants, and fast-food places. The motel is comfortable, and we were on the first floor, as I requested. We liked our room and its location. The little patio by the sliding door was perfect for some of us who smoke since the rooms are smoke-free.There is also enough parking space for guests.
It was a basic breakfast each morning, eggs, some sort of meat, potatoes. Coffee was OK. Better than a "grab-and-go" which is why we stayed here and not another hotel. We had trouble with the first 2 rooms and the manager on duty quickly gave us new rooms. Staff quickly took care of the snow on the sidewalks and parking lot.
