Location is good and the place was comfortable and clean enough. Coffee available throughout the day. Wifi worked well. Staff were not overly friendly, but nice and helpful.

Many options available for breakfast. The wait staff was great. The ice cream cones were an unexpected bonus. Lake views while eating was my favorite in the dining room and the stained glass in the entry was so beautiful.
The location was perfect for all our excursions in the area.

The property was beautiful. Nate and Ashley were amazing. This was our first stay ever at a bed and breakfast and it was great! We really enjoyed walking around in the morning and being able to look out at Lake Michigan. Breakfast was great both mornings. We stayed in Laura's Room and it was nice and spacious and clean.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The people with whom I spoke were pleasant. The first person helped with with a parking situation, the next was a pleasant lady working the desk. She offer to help as much as she could with information about the area and the facility.
The parking lot was well lighted, the outside and inside was clean, and the hotel was well maintained. I also liked how close it was to restaurants and stores.
The hotel is centrally located to the downtown area, just down from the maritime museum. There is a decent amount of parking. You can walk to just about anything you need for food and drink.
