Special, special place! Very comfortable, warm feel to this house, and filled with interesting art! Loved my room, the blue barn, the garden, the Highlands. More than anything, Jim is a stupendously great person and host imho. I’m somewhat of a reserved individual, so it was great to have some quiet time alongside such lovely and generous company. We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.
