The inn is close to Clayton and makes it a central location to visit other towns in the area. This time, the breakfast was made fresh each morning. We had a different hot choice that included breakfast sandwiches, French toast sticks, has brown patties, breakfast potatoes and breakfast pizza. There was other items to choose from, like cereal, muffins, yogurt or toast, if you didn't want the hot breakfast.
Our room was on the top floor and we had a beautiful view of the river. Several ships went by during our stay. The room had a separate bedroom, living room area and a table to eat at. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, stove and dishes in case you wanted to cook your meals.
We especially enjoyed the complimentary boat tour to Boldt Castle. This was our third boat tour with Clayton Island Tours and each one has been different and enjoyable. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and it was nice to learn some new things instead of the same old stuff. We can't wait to return.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
the location is great but our room was facing the parking lot . The breakfast is grab and go and of poor quality food. did not even have boiled egg at least. the restaurant is only open for dinner, perhaps because of the seasonality of the place? but if the hotel is open i expect regular services
It was better than expecting. The place was cozy and very clean, and the bed unbelievably comfortable. the staff was very polite and helpful, had free parking and free coffee. Would definitely recommend!
The location was very convenient to everything Alexandria Bay has to offer. The view, while not spectacular, was ok. Across the parking lot there was a water view.
The fact that we did not pay much was the only good thing. The parking lot was noisy. Cars drove thru very fast. The lit next door was for boat storage so it looked ugly. We were told about the restaurant but when we got there it was a private party and we were turned away. The front desk never knows when the parties are??
We had a corner room on the 4th floor. We had two balconies, one overlooking the parking lot, the other was beautiful overlooking the harbor. Beautiful sun sets!!! Food in the restaurant was very good, and the waiter and waitresses were great!!!

When 4th evening parking lot all full, the manager allows me to use the entrance ramp to park temporary is really nice and showed a flexibility to make customer happy.
