We spent a week at F-zeen that we named “the peaceful paradise on earth”. Be ready to be absolutely amazed by the harmony and vibe of this hotel. The staff is just above every expectation. They do everything to go above and beyond your needs to make your stay a once in a lifetime experience. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The beach which is at your footsteps is just gorgeous. The food was amazing and super delicious!

A great place if you want to experience and enjoy the island. The food is excellent, the staff are always ready to help, the hotel is designed for a small number of people and we did not feel the presence of other people. The personalized beach is top. Large territory on which live monkeys! We felt really on a tropical island! The special dinner by the pool did not leave us indifferent! Thank you Maharaja, we will be back !

The resort is located directly on the beach. It peaceful and quiet, and makes for a perfect destination if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Staff are friendly, and Sheikha, the manager, was especially helpful during our stay. We were initially in a 2 bedroom family room, but since there was an issue with the drain smell that couldn't be sorted immediately, Sheikh moved us to two separate rooms which were equally comfortable if not, better. Breakfast was great, and the chef was keen to take a special request on one of the days. The hotel grounds and the pool are well kept and cleaned every morning.
On days we wanted to take a taxi to restaurants in the area, Sheikha arranged with the hotel driver to take us and bring us back.

Pongwe Beach Hotel is embedded in a beautiful tropical garden and situated right at the beach. We‘ve loved its secluded location, the beach is not accessible during high tide and that means that you don‘t get bothered by beach boys as much (rarely ever, to be honest). We‘ve had a beach front room that was literally a stone‘s throw away from the beach, it couldn‘t have been any more convenient! The room was spacious and spotless, also our 14yr old daughter had a full single bed to use. The turn down service in the evening is something you don‘t usually see in that category, so we were pleasantly surprised. Another nice touch is the option to order early morning coffee / tea, that gets quietly delivered to your terrace from 07:00 am onwards, so as an early bird you can enjoy your first cup of coffee on the daybed of your room terrace and enjoy the wonderful beach view whilst others are still sleeping.
We‘ve booked half board and were not disappointed - the menu was very diverse, each day you could choose between meat / fish / vegetarian options for your main course. There‘s a buffet twice a week as well, plus evening entertainment on 2 days, we‘ve enjoyed both very much! The staff is most welcoming and attentive, no matter if housekeeping, restaurant, reception….as a guest you feel your presence is appreciated and every wish is taken care of. I usually never book 3-star hotels, but with this one got tempted because of its exceptional reviews - and they are all true, so can highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

very comfortable resort, rich food, quiet, 3 pools (your choice, if you want quiet or animation), bar on pier, parking, generator for power outages, smiling staff .... so "hakuna matata" in all ways
The kids absolutely loved the pools and we all liked our rooms, even the ones with dodgy air con. The food was better than expected and we enjoyed the variety on offer. Highly recommend the spa treatments. We hired 7 seaters to get around and the resort was in a good location to explore the island. Parking was also free!
