Staying at Amadeus' home was one of our most favorite experiences while traveling through Tanzania. For an authentic, local experience you must stay here!! Amadeus and his entire team were incredibly hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed the incredible food, we loved being able to walk through the village to see a viewpoint of Mount Kili, nearby waterfalls, a tour of Chagga houses, and have a tour of the coffee farm. We enjoyed sitting by the bonfire in the evenings and talking with the team, who soon felt like family. It is truly an authentic homestay located in the beautiful foothills of Kili. It is hard to put the full experience into just a few sentences. Amadeus is also a Mount Kili guide and safari guide so ask him for recommendations if you plan to do either of these activities. We can't wait to visit again someday to hike Mount Kili with the team!!

This place is a hidden gem. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel manager, Mr. Minga ensured all of our needs were met and went above and beyond to give us 5 star treatment throughout our stay. I loved the location ...a lovely walk to Mt. Kilimanjaro if you enjoy walking/jogging in the hills. The tourism services were also superb!! We enjoyed the many waterfalls, a walking safari and historical tours of the several tribal villages in the area! We will be making this a regular vacation destination.
