A must visit! We ended up at Garden Beach Villas by coincidence after having another accommodation in the area cancelled. We did not expect a lot and were nicely surprised. Our stay was at the small villa which is comprised of great sized bathroom, clean bedroom and large living room area connected with kitchen which, despite being quite basic, is equipped with pretty much everything you need. The outdoor area is of a great size with chairs and a sunlounger - overlooking the beautifully cared for garden which offers direct access to calm and relaxing beach. Our breakfast was served on time and always fresh- we had fresh juice, fruit, pancakes, eggs and bread available. The staff was exceptional-smiley and welcoming always available to help with anything we needed. We were also joined by a family of cats and kittens that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Overall we loved our stay here and would like to thank the team (especially Mati) for making our stay feel like home away from home.

What a fantastic place! Zanziblue was the most underrated spot we visited in Zanzibar. We stayed at four different hotels in the same or higher price range, one of which was about twice the cost and less than 10 minutes away by car. Still, Zanziblue was definitely the perfect choice for us, especially when it came to high-quality food. As a VEGAN, I was impressed that the kitchen could create vegan options comparable to those in high-quality Western restaurants. This is significant, considering the challenges and limitations on the island. Big kudos to the Swedish chef and co-owner, who truly succeeded in crafting this experience. The highlight was definitely the vegan cheese made from cashew nuts. The menu is primarily non-vegan, I'm confident that non-vegan guests would also be impressed.
It was the small details that made us feel so welcomed. The staff respected us, and the hotel management clearly understands how to run a place like this by leading their local team by example.
The service was exceptional. They not only listened to their guests but went above and beyond. For instance, they surprised us with a celebration for an unannounced birthday.
Another highlight was the beach tour offered with local guides from the village. We were finally able to connect with locals on a personal level, without feeling pressured to buy anything, allowing us to explore the region sustainably and learn about local life.
All in all, I wish we had discovered this place earlier so we could have stayed a longer period of time.

The property is a small and cozy hotel right on the beach with a lot of plants and flowers in the garden. The room was very big and clean. The food, either buffet or a la carte was very tasty. All the staff was very nice and willing to help. Thank you girls and boys from the restaurant and bar, Hishma and all the staff who helped me plotting the surprise 😉. And ofcourse I cannot forget the welcoming meouwings of Tana and the fluffy Tutu.

Location is absolutely stunning - overlooking Mnemba island. Facilities are stunningly beautiful. Staff are above and beyond. Food was excellent - very tasty and they even have seriously good strong coffee here.
Rating is given staying in ocean front deluxe (room 2) which is literally 4m from the ocean - highly recommended. Great onsite dive center with great staff and good boat they use to go to the dive sites. Massage at the spa was awesome.
All in all one of the best places we have ever stayed.

The owners are very lovely, warm and helpful and the rooms are really comfortable and have a lovely view into the main pool area. The hotel is located right at the beach and it’s very quite and calm around there. The in- and exterior is warmly decorated and has a lot of charm to it.
We loved the great service, the food and the little activities (e.g. cooking class, village walk, live music sunset) offered by the staff without extra charge.

I do not know where to begin. The Villa is amazing. It is very clean, quiet, luxurious and private. The host, Neema, is wonderful, she is super friendly, has been phenomenal from start to finish and welcoming and so have the other staff. There are a few restaurants on the beach in a walking distance, however be very careful (we learnt this lesson the hard way), but the food cooked by the chefs in the Villa is outstanding quality, so we highly recommend to try it.
We stayed here for two weeks and it was the most memorable experience; the views are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We would also like to thank Paulette and her whole family, they made us feel very welcomed, we celebrated special occasions together as well as she helped us when we were most in need! You will not get this type of service anywhere else.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
