We were moved to Dar Tozeur owing to renovations. We were so impressed with every aspect of our stay. This truly is an oasis with an oasis. We cannot fault any part of our stay. The owner was very welcoming and spoke perfect English. He was able to answer all our questions and was always willing to help! Communication via WhatsApp worked perfect. In a modern area of town, the house is upmarket and well decorated. The hosts were away, but left it in good hands with the breakfast lady who gave a very good breakfast each morning, The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and parking is easy. The dinner choices were typically a mile or so away, so a car is preferable - museums are close. The a/c worked in the room, but took rather a long time to cool it off. The wi-fi was OK but not the best (in our room - it was stronger in other parts of the house).
Lovely hotel about 2 kms from the centre of Tozeur. Distance ideal for taking a horse drawn carriage which wait at the entrance. The rooms , food, staff were all the you would expect for a four star hotel and the all inclusive rate was excellent value in early November 2022. Heated indoor pool which was nice in November. Plenty of secure parking if you are driving. Tours can be organised at reception to surrounding sites but very expensive and much better and cheaper to hire a car.
Beautifully designed property, both swimming pools were impeccable. Our room and bed were super comfy. Very convenient location with free parking. Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff.
I really love the location of the hotel which is just few minutes from the tourist center but in really vibrant area with food and shopping. Despite the busy streets around the the inner shared space is surprisingly quiet.
Secure parking for the motorcycles is in front of the hotel in the bus station and costs 5TND per night.
Staff is incredibly helpful and English is spoken.
It is a great value for money.
