This was the first time we stayed at Kanchanaburi. We travelled from Bangkok via Grab. The destination was easy to get to, situated at the side of the main road. On arrival the staff checked our passport, gave us our key and we were set to go to our room. This quick process was nice after nearly a 3 hour journey. The room was decent sized but more importantly clean and smelled lovely, with a
Fan in the bathroom and AC for the room. The location also is great if you want to order food via GRAB. You get the option of putting a sign out if you want your room made. If not staff will put new towels, toilet paper bin bags etc onto a little hamper stand outside your room. Check out was also a breeze. Just to note the staff are not fluent in English but this did not cause any issues.

The owners were really nice and very helpful. The facilities were spotless. Although it’s not in the city centre, it’s not far away and it was very easy to get around via Grab, by taxi, Tuk tuk or walking. There is a night food market only 10 minutes walk away.
The breakfast was simple but lovely, and served with a delicious orange marmalade!

Lovely place to stay, colonial and roomy feel, recently renovated to a high standard while retaining colonial feel, breakfast served in the coffeeshop below was really really nice. The host is a lovely and helpful person who would do anything to make you feel comfortable. And absolute recommendation for a stay, and we have been to Kanchanabury multiple times.

The resort was beautifully set out and very welcoming. Lovely pool area and garden to the riverside. Large selection for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and spacious for relaxing in.
