From the minute I arrived I felt welcome and the owner was fantastic. He explained everything about the town and what I should do. I don't normally plan when I go away so this was key for me and I ended up on Ko Somet from his recommendation which was great.
He has build a great little resort there and it is evident he cares for the people who stays there by going out of his way to make sure you have everything you need.

The rooms were comfortable and clean if a little basic/dated. It would have been great to have had a sea view, unfortunately we were behind the restaurant. Nonetheless the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great breakfast, and the location is excellent right on the sea front.
