Wonderful position 5 minutes from the lake with beautiful views. Possibility for breakfast outside, although we didn’t because the seasons were changing. Great breakfast with lots of fruit. And fruit and snacks available during the day. Really really helpful owner!

The atmosphere at Hostel Mama Minka is very friendly and the owners make you feel at home. The place is great, they also offer bikes for rent and a good place to rest after long walks/tours. We met some amazing people too. My boyfriend and I had only booked one night, but we liked the place so much that we used it as a base for a few days to explore the mountains and lakes, that we stayed for 3 nights in total. That's why we highly recommend you spend one or more nights there.

The chalets are set in beautiful peaceful surroundings near a river and only 5 minutes walk to one end of Lake Bohinj. Our chalet apartment was perfect for 2 people - well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) and great shower with excellent water pressure! Amazing quiet location, immaculately clean, comfy beds, hot shower and lake Bohinj a 5 minute walk away - by far our favourite place we stayed in Slovenia and the photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back, we were sad to leave!
