For those yearning to escape the urban hustle and find joy in the beauty of nature, this place in Istria is undoubtedly the perfect destination. It is also very close to very nice view point with great restaurant and wine tasting spot and just 30 minutes away from great public beach in Isola. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome from the hosts. Every detail in the house is carefully thought out, and the atmosphere was incredibly inviting. We have received a great booklet about local attractions and must-visit places with tips about working hours, parking spaces etc and also had a possiblity to try local drinks, great olive oils and fruits. We also loved mint rustic style kitchen, and great table in the living room. Host was always available on request, answering very fast for any queries.

Very nice living in a small village. There is peace and quiet here, we wanted to live outside the city, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The owner is very friendly and will advise what and how to see in the area, where to park, etc. Good driving distance to the sea and seaside towns, Škočiamská jama and others. We received their fruit from the garden, the opportunity to use the herbs in the garden, we also received small gifts for the children and for us. We can only recommend housing to everyone.

Fantastic peaceful location in the middle of vineyards where you can really reconnect with nature and yourself. Ziva welcomed us warmly, took care of a basket of local goodies for breakfast, and shared some great recommendations on places to see nearby. Bostjan is a great host with an extraordinary and genuine passion for winemaking - he took us through details of his domain during wine tasting evening which was a truly amazing experience. We appreciate the great energy both hosts shared with us and our children and enjoyed our good and valuable talks. If I should summarize our experience in the wine house Rakar I'd say it just felt like home :) THANK YOU
