The accommodation is good value for money. A Lidl and a gas station are very close, but the city center is also easily accessible from here. I recommend the car for Celje Castle.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.

Right on a busy main road, but using the Aircon rather than keeping the window open meant that despite the hot weather we slept well.
Walk into town and to the Beer Fountain took around 15 minutes but was flat and an easy walk.

The owners was really friendly and helpful . Place is above a pizzeria. Room is clear with all the necessities. Parking was secure for my motorbike. Dinner and breakfast was really great, kitchen is perfect. Owner was kind and we had long discussion about local sightseeing, his formal truck driver life, etc. He was super attentive. I warmly recommend this place.
