We really enjoyed staying in the Tiny House run by the young family! The Tiny House and amenities were all clean and are perfect for couples that enjoy off-grid holidays. The breakfast was diverse, homegrown, and organic and accommodated us (lactose and gluten free people). The sweet family that runs it made check-in flexible for us; gave us insight into the best spots in the area for visiting, walking, and swimming; and have made the premises sustainable and environmentally friendly. Evenings included enjoying board games in the pub, music nights, and watching sunsets over the idyllic country views from the well-placed benches. We cannot recommend a stay at the Thistle Inn and visit to the area enough, as they remain a hidden gem in a gorgeous part of Sweden.

I could not have asked for much more from my stay here. The hosts and their little family were fantastic, very welcoming and kind individuals. Prior to my arrival there was actually an issue with the water at property and they contacted me to say how sorry they were and that they would try to fix it - which they did in no time! Very accommodating people willing to help. Not to mention the confusing microwave which they helped me with, too! I was only staying here for one night but I wish I had stayed more because the location, the hosts, the lake nearby - it was all just too good. The outdoor shower was something new to me but since the months of using it I have actually found myself seeking out more outdoor showers and cold ones - it is great! There is a small stream that runs alongside the property which is attached to a garage on the land of the main house where the family lives. There are hills either side so you are closed in with the sound of a stream in a very tranquil little valley. Lastly, please go to the lake! It will be worth your while without a doubt. It takes 10 minutes to get there from the property and the sunset is something else!
