I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Forest Lodge. Stephen was able to accommodate my request for an early check in and also helped arrange a pick up from the airport. Both him and Alam were friendly and welcoming. The property is located a short (but generally uphill) walk away from the main road and a bus stop, but for me, even though I didn't drive, it was very manageable, and I enjoyed the relative peace and quiet, as well as the opportunity to observe nature (e.g bulbuls and flying foxes) from my balcony, while also enjoying the convenience of easy access to the bus to town / Beau Vallon (you can walk there as well in maybe 15-20 min). The room itself is very spacious for a solo traveller, and the balcony was very roomy as well.

We've stayed at River Villa in the beginning of November. A family of 7.
Now about the house. People are different and their needs are different. For our big family it was the best place. The house is situated in a quiet place. There is a wonderful garden with plants, flowers and fruits. Jeanne treated us all the time with different fruits. In the morning when you wake up you hear all the birds and frogs in the garden, like you are in the heart of the jungle, it's great!
The house is really big. There are two bedrooms on the first floor snd two on the second, with bathroom for the each one. There is a big hall, where there are a lot of books and boardgames, in the evening our children played chess.
The house is decorated in the colonial style. So it is a strange effect: the house is big, but cosy at the same time.
In the kitchen you have everything you need and even more. 2 Fridges, oven, dishwasher, coffee-machine, electric teapot, all the kitchen things.
There is a splendid place for the laundry. And washing machine.
What else? You can reach the beach in 10 minutes by feet, there is a quiet little one not far from the house. And to reach shops and Bouvaloon it takes 20 minutes by feet.
We fall in love with this place! Thank you, Jeanne! I hope some day we come back!

The amazing manager of the property (Didier) was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to provide us with the best holiday experience. Not to forget the delicious BBQ that we enjoyed on our last day, thanks again Didier.
Our lovely tourist guide (Jonathan) was very professional and thorough, he had extensive knowledge of the culture, history and took us on multiple, wonderful places and beaches.

Location is great, right at Beau Vallon Beach. There is really nice common deck with sunbeds, outdoor shower and seating area. All apartments have ocean view, which is trully stunning. Private parking. Host of the apartments was very nice and helpfull, easy to get in contact if needed.

This place is perfect for everyone who prefer this kind of accommodation. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, the place is close to bus stop, beach, shops, with large parking lot for rental cars. Staff is amazing, very helpful.
The apartment was fully equipped, including an amazin sea view: open kitchen, living room and bedroom, aircon in both rooms, balkony with seaview, parking lot, mini market 100 m away. Perfect!
The apartment was superbly placed with views of Beau Vallon beach, and reef snorkelling immediately accessible from the property. Free access to kayaks and snorkelling equipment is provided. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Free parking was right outside the door. Barbara and Gilbert were friendly and helpful hosts. We highly recommend Surfers Cover apartments.
