The hosts are a Romanian couple who were both very friendly and helpful towards us. And they both also speak fluent English. They gave us lots of useful information about Saliste and about România in general. The common kitchen/BBQ area is where we interacted with our hosts and the guests from the other apartment. But if you wish to keep to yourself you could equally remain inside your apartment as it has its own fully equipped kitchen with fridge and stove top etc. We parked our medium sized car in their driveway. Motorbikes are parked in their garage. We had no trouble navigating to their address via google maps. The apartment was quiet, clean and peaceful. Their dog is friendly and has been trained to stay away from the guests room (in case you don’t like dogs). There is a delightful restaurant in town and our hosts told us about the menu of the day which is not on the menu and is traditional Romanian food. Out of 3 weeks holidaying all over România, this was our number one stay!

Amazing place! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, everything clean and fragrant. In addition to the rooms themselves, there is a huge terrace with tables, swings - all by a tiny pond. In addition, a large, spacious and free parking lot.
Lovely owners! Involved, helpful, open. We could use everything that was in the house, including plates, cups, fridge, espresso machine.
